How To Choose Asian Supplier Sizes For US And EU Fits

Supplier letter sizes are not direct equivalents of US or EU letters. A supplier XL can fit like a smaller Western size, so the garment measurements are the source of truth.

Measure Before Ordering

• Measure the body waist where the waistband will sit.
• Measure the fullest part of the hip.
• Compare the outseam with trousers that already fit well.
• Check whether the product has a fixed, elastic, or drawstring waist.

For a fixed waist, leave at least 2 cm between the body waist and garment waist. Relaxed fits also need room through the hip. A drawstring can tighten a waist but does not prove that it stretches wider.
